Flow Control Equipment

“Flow control equipment” from SMC typically refers to equipment such as speed controllers, quick-exhaust valves, residual-pressure release valves, meter valves with silencer, and other flow/air-regulating valves

These devices are used to control the flow rate or exhaust rate of compressed air (or other media as specified), regulate cylinder speed, manage pressure release, and ensure smooth and safe pneumatic operations — e.g. in pneumatic actuators/cylinders, automation systems, industrial machines.

SMC offers many variants: different port/tube sizes, “meter-in” or “meter-out” flow control, in-line or elbow/universal mounting, basic or stainless-steel bodies (for corrosive or clean-room environments), and special features like integrated check valves or silencers.
